Pedestrian Crash on Stanley Avenue Left Shelby Catherine Brady
SANTA BARBARA, CA (November 10, 2021) – 49-year-old Shelby Catherine Brady died Thursday after a pedestrian crash on Stanley Avenue.
The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. November 4, at the intersection of Las Positas Road and Stanley Avenue.
According to the CHP, for still unknown reasons, a large pickup truck hit Brady while crossing the road. Responding officers located Brady lying on the street.
Paramedics performed life-saving efforts, but she later succumbed to her injuries. While, the truck driver remained and cooperated with the officials.
Moreover, CHP closed the area for six hours for cleaning up and investigation.
At this time, police did not release any additional information. However, an active investigation is ongoing.
