Pedestrian Accident on Branch Road Claimed the Life of Shawnee Meninick

HARRAH, WA (December 7, 2021) – 19-year-old Shawnee Meninick lost her life after a pedestrian accident on Branch Road last Thursday.

The fatal crash took place in the 9300-block of Branch Road, at around 7:00 a.m.

Officers received reports of a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle in the area, although the events leading up to the crash remain unknown.

Responding officers found the woman dead at the scene. Authorities later identified the victim as 19-year-old Shawnee Meninick from White Swan.

In addition, Harrah police stated that the investigation has been moved to Yakama Nation Tribal Police.

Further details about the crash are still being assessed by authorities. More information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
