One Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Serdonis Street

TEMECULA, CA (October 13, 2022) – Late Monday morning, a pedestrian crash on Howell Mountain Street left Sharon Miller-Dzurinda dead.

The accident happened shortly after 11:00 a.m., near the intersection of Howell Mountain Street and Serdonis Street.

According to reports, Miller-Dzurinda was walking in the area when she stopped to the right side of an Acura sedan that had the door ajar. Her husband, who was driving the car, then backed the car up and knocked her down before running her over. 

Medical personnel arrived and pronounced 73-year-old Miller-Dzurinda, of Temecula dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, her husband remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

At this time, Temecula Officials are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the Howell Mountain Street pedestrian crash.
