Shannon & the Clams get Bloodshot: Shannon Shaw of garage-psych-punks Shannon & the Clams told us about her Bloodshot Bill experience.

Shannon Shaw: Best gig I ever saw was Bloodshot Bill in Toronto. He did a one man band, seated in a chair with an old, deeply worn guitar. He had so much control over his voice, between strumming and combing grease into his hair, he could make sound beautiful and romantic like Elvis, then turn it into a demon like frog voice and then throw it out like a thousand banshees and growl deeper than anything I’d ever heard.

I felt like how I felt seeing my first live shows as a teen: overwhelmed, thrilled, terrified, inspired.
