Driver Arrested Following Fatal Pedestrian Crash near Orange Grove Avenue
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (August 1, 2023) – Wednesday evening, a hit-and-run collision on Watt Avenue took the life of Shanese Marielee Bradshaw.
Police responded to the crash shortly after 9:00 p.m. in the area of Watt Avenue and Orange Grove Avenues.
Upon arrival, CHP officers determined that a black 2011 Lexus GS350 hit the victim and immediately fled the scene.
Responding medical personnel transported the female pedestrian to Mercy San Juan Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries.
Later, the Sacramento County coroner’s office identified the deceased victim as 25-year-old Shanese Marielee Bradshaw. Her place of residence remains unknown.
On Thursday, the California Highway Patrol managed to track down and arrest the suspect. However, the suspect was not publicly identified by the authorities.
