T-Bone Collision near South Frontage Road Left Multiple Injuries

NIPOMO, CA (February 7, 2022) – Authorities recorded multiple injuries in a T-bone collision near Tefft Street, early Wednesday afternoon.

California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m., near West Tefft Street and South Frontage Road.

Authorities say the driver of a black GMC sport utility vehicle ran a red light. As a result, the GMC t-boned a silver Chevrolet sedan that was traveling through the intersection.

Meanwhile, officials were not able to confirm the number or extent of the injuries resulting from the collision. The crash resulted in traffic restrictions near the intersection for about an hour, logs show.

Moreover, first responders included San Luis Ambulance paramedics and Cal Fire units.
