Two Vehicles Caught Fire after Multi-Vehicle Crash along 4th Street

SANTA MONICA, CA (April 12, 2022) Last Friday, a fiery crash on 4th Street left minor injuries to several drivers, police said.

The accident took place just around 6:30 p.m. along 4th Street, between Broadway and Colorado Avenue.

According to the CHP, multiple vehicles collided inside a parking garage for reasons still unknown at this time.

Two of the vehicles caught fire as a result of the collision. Fortunately, all drivers exited their vehicles before the fire spread and firefighters quickly arrived to extinguished the flames.

Responding paramedics treated all the drivers that sustained injuries considered minor. At this time, officials have not released the identities of any of the involved people.

Meanwhile, Santa Monica police are working to determine the cause of the fiery crash, and will release more information once available.
