Multi-Vehicle Collision on Spanaway Loop Road Left Several Injured

SPANAWAY, CA (January 20, 2022) – Wednesday morning, at least five people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle collision on Loop Road.

The crash happened on Spanaway Loop Road S near Military Road S and 116th Street around 10:45 a.m.

Furthermore, officials said a three-vehicle rollover crash took place and caused injuries to at least five occupants from the vehicles.

Responding emergency crews extracted and rescued two of the victims from the wreckage. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.

Meanwhile, medics treated the remaining victims at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital.

Police closed the surrounding area for an undisclosed amount of time to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

An active investigation is still continuing at this moment. Spanaway police will release more information as soon as it becomes available to the public.
