Multiple Unidentified Victims Hurt in 10-Vehicle Collision near Highway 89
TRUCKEE, CA (April 19, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, several victims sustained injuries in a semi-truck accident on Interstate 80.
First responders arrived to the scene on the eastbound lanes of I-80 near Highway 89 on March 15th.
At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that ten vehicles, including several big-rigs were involved.
The Tahoe Truckee Unified School District said that classes started late due to the incident.
Following cleanup and preliminary duties, medics treated multiple victims with minor injuries. Although, an active investigation to determine more information is still currently underway.
