Multi-Car Crash on McCarran Boulevard near Airway Drive in Reno

RENO, NV (August 10, 2021) Several people sustained injuries Saturday evening after a multi-car crash on McCarran Boulevard in Reno.

The accident occurred after 7:30 p.m. according to authorities, on July 31st, near South McCarran Boulevard and Airway Drive.

Currently, information regarding the crash is limited. Officials have not released the names of those injured or the total number of people involved.

Authorities closed the area to allow for an investigation and emergency response, but it reopened around 10:30 p.m.

At this time, it is unknown whether the crash was caused by speed, drugs, or alcohol. An active investigation, however, is underway.
