It's probably safe to say that many Angelenos are pretty blasé about the whole food truck phenomenon by now. But if you live in the Valley, you may feel a bit more cut off from the trend. Although more and more trucks are venturing on to the other side of the hill, most still stay well east of the 405 and south of the 101. But those of us within the 818 area code are in luck, because this Thursday, July 1st, from 5-8 p.m. Street Eatz is coming to the Calabasas Commons.

If you think it's an exaggeration to say that the Valley is a slightly undeserved market, here's how the guys who run the Komodo truck put it on their site: “On Thursday, your prayers have been answered Calabasas…”

In addition to Komodo, The Grilled Cheese Truck, Crepe'n Around, The Dumpling Station,The Slice Truck, and The World Fare Bustaurant will also be there trying to grab a whole new audience. If you want to finish the night with dessert, The Sweets Truck will be parked at the Commons too.
