Two-Vehicle Collision on Colorado Boulevard Left Sergio Garcia Dead

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 11, 2023) – Saturday evening, Sergio Garcia was involved in a deadly two-vehicle collision on Colorado Boulevard.

Officers responded to the incident shortly after 8:30 p.m. along the northbound lanes of the I-5 Freeway in Griffith Park near Colorado Boulevard. The collision caused hours of traffic delays.

One victim, a male thought to be in his 40s, was found dead at the scene, according to the police.

The CHP announced that a large portion of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but has since been reopened.

Investigations are still being conducted to determine what caused the collision. Authorities will post additional information as it becomes available to the public.
