Collision on Highway 154 Involving Semi-Truck Caused Major Traffic Backup

SANTA BARBARA, CA (October 18, 2021)  A vehicle crash on Highway 154 in Santa Barbara caused a traffic delay Wednesday morning, bringing the already congested highway to a stop.

The collision happened around 10:50 a.m. on Highway 154 near Cachuma Village Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a semi-truck rear-ended a four-door minivan, although the main cause of the crash remain unknown.

At this time, officials did not report any injuries from the crash.

Moreover, the crash resulted in heavy traffic delays for motorists along the highway for almost an hour.

At this time, the Santa Barbara Officials are working to identify the cause of the crash.
