22-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Train Accident near Limonite Avenue

JURUPA VALLEY, CA (March 3, 2022) -Tuesday evening, Semaj Holliman was killed in a train collision on Van Buren Boulevard.

According to Riverside Country Police, this occurred around 7:22 p.m. on February 22. Crews arrived about 1 mile north of Limonite Avenue.

At this time, the circumstances that led up the incident remain unclear. Although, reports indicate that Holliman was fatally struck by a passing train.

There remains no information on how the 22-year-old pedestrian ended up on the railroad tracks. However, more information will be provided once made available.

Train services resumed at approximately 1:00 a.m., the next day.
