Tucked in a corner of Disney Hall's metallic ribbons, the black box architecture of REDCAT morphs into intriguing, imaginary worlds as the dance, theater, music and multimedia artists selected for REDCAT's 7th Annual New Original Works Festival share the stage. Week 3 (Aug. 5-7) boasts dancer/choreographer Hana van der Kolk in Once More, Again drawing on music from the Pointer Sisters, Prince and Rapture as a work created for four dancers is reinterpreted into a solo, Miwa Matreyek in a pas de deux for her body and what is described as “fantasy-driven projections,” and Alexandro Segade's live film shoot in Replicant vs. Separatist. Preview the performers at the links on REDCAT'S website.

Thursdays-Saturdays, 8:30 p.m. Starts: July 22. Continues through Aug. 7, 2010
