0 9The Nightmare Before Christmas, holiday horror classics like Black Christmas, and the anagram connection between Santa and Satan…  all have helped solidify the spooky season’s meld into Christmas time. Which makes Seasons Screamings horror and shopping event happening right in the middle of yuletide preparations more than perfect. Over 200 dark-themed vendors, scary photo ops (selfies with Krampus!) and much more it should be ghoulish good time.

Friday night Poltergeists and Paramours (mentioned in our holiday gift guide) hosts a Christmas Spooktacular fashion show hosted by Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator) and Fangoria‘s Angel Melanson. Saturday and Sunday, there’s Dead Right Horror Trivia, ghost stories, a Fangoria podcast show recording, a discussion on the making of Muppets Haunted Mansion and the Haunted Mansion Holiday decor at Disneyland,  a Krampus panel led by Krampus LA and Cacophony Society’s founder Al Ridenour, and a roundtable with Rick West from Midsummer Scream, Shawn Marshall from Parks and Cons, Chloe Noelle from CloeIRL, and Josh Quillin of Epic Home Haunts.

There’s also a sexy Peepshow Menagerie “Island of Misfit Tease” burlesque show, a Hall of Yuletide Spirits walk-thru where visitors can come face-to-face with fiercesome Xmas creatures and carolers, and some iconic guests such as Gremlins I and II star Zack Galligan (you’ll be able to adopt a mogwai from him!) and The Munsters Eddie Munster himself, Butch Patrick. Participating brands include: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, Rhode Montijo, Trick or Treat Studios, Miss Havisham’s Curiosities, and Discount Cemetery.
