Deadly Crash on 215 Freeway Kills 43-Year-Old Temecula Man

WILDOMAR, CA (March 25, 2021) – A deadly collision on the 215 Freeway in Temecula killed 43-year-old Sea-Jay Cameron, Monday morning of March 15.

According to reports, Cameron, the driver of the Volkswagen Jetta, was traveling at around 70 to 75 mph south on the 215 Freeway, north of Clinton Keith Road, next to a Ford F-150.

For unknown reasons, the Jetta steered to the left and collided with the right side of the F-150. Due to the impact, the Jetta eventually drifted onto the freeway shoulder and collided with a light pole.

Cameron was taken to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

In addition, a 2020 Hyundai Kona driving in the third lane collided with the downed pole. Meanwhile, the other drivers involved in the crash did not suffer serious injuries.

Officials considered alcohol, drugs or impairment as the main cause of the collision. However, authorities are investigating whether an impairment is the primary cause of the accident.
