Scott Weiland, the former Stone Temple Pilots lead singer who was found dead on his tour bus in Minnesota on Dec. 3, died from mixed drug toxicity, according to a report released this morning by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office. The report says Weiland's body was found to contain cocaine, ethanol (i.e. booze) and methylenedioxyamphetamine, or MDA, a controlled substance commonly sold as ecstasy.

“Other significant conditions are noted as atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, history of asthma and multi-substance dependence,” the report added. “Manner of death is accident.”

According to TMZ, police found several other prescription drugs on the tour bus, including Xanax, Viagra, painkillers, sleeping pills and Ziprasidone, a drug used to treat bipolar disorder. However, the medical examiner's report does not mention them as playing in a role in the the 48-year-old singer's death.

At the time of his death, Weiland was on tour with his band, Scott Weiland & the Wildabouts. He left Stone Temple Pilots in 2013 and was replaced by Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.

A member of The Wildabouts, bassist Tommy Black, was arrested by local authorities for cocaine possession but later released.
