Mostly we try and stay away from telephone tag rumor, but this one is just too beautiful not to pass along. Gothamist reports that SNL's Ana Gasteyer has said in an interview that Ben & Jerry's, the ice cream company that has brought us Stephen Colbert's AmeriCone Dream flavor, will be coming out with a Schweddy Balls ice cream later this year. Schweddy Balls, as you surely know, refers to the utterly hilarious Alec Baldwin SNL skit, in which Baldwin plays cookie maker Pete Schweddy on a fake PBS food radio show. There are few things some of us love more in this world than Alec Baldwin and ice cream. Imagine.

Ben & Jerry's has neither confirmed nor denied the report, and it's hard to tell if Gasteyer was serious in the interview. It's also entirely possible that, if we all want this so damn much, the ice cream company might come out with the flavor whether they originally meant to or not. Some reports say in time for Christmas. Watch the clip to see why.
