Central Fresno Multi-Vehicle Crash Involved an Occupied School Bus
FRESNO, CA (August 27, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a school bus involved collision that affected four other vehicles in Central Fresno.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning around 7:30 at Clinton and Fruit.
According to the CHP, a sedan crashed into a pickup truck while in the intersection.
Afterwards, the truck proceeded to hit a signal light pole as the sedan drove into a school bus resting at the red light.
Later on, the police confirmed that there were 12 students occupying the school bus at the time of the crash.
In addition, two vehicles received significant damages as the pick-up tire flew into the stopped cars.
At the end, paramedics transported two students to a hospital as a precaution at their parents request.
Furthermore, one of the drivers in the stopped car went to a hospital to complain of some pain while the passenger in the sedan received minor injuries.
