By all reports, Kathy Griffin's Wednesday night appearance at Vroman's Books provided Pasadena with the kind of crowd crush it usually only sees during Rose Parades. Griffin was promoting Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin. According to attendees, Griffin signed books for three hours (stretching one hour past Vroman's bedtime) and had her picture taken with anyone brave enough to request a pose. (One man is said to have bought 13 copies of Griffin's book, all of which she signed.) An estimated  600 Griffinistas attended, creating a line that stretched down Colorado Boulevard.
