45-Year-Old Man Dies in Rollover Crash near Friant Road

FRESNO, CA (March 4, 2022) – Saturday morning, 45-year-old Sath Som lost his life in a solo-car crash on Highway 41.

The accident happened around 12:45 a.m., just before midnight along Highway 41, north of Friant Road.

California Highway Patrol officers stated that Som was driving a Toyota Tacoma northbound when his car steered to the right, for unknown reasons.

Consequently, the truck overturned at least once then went off the road, colliding with a metal fence.

Moreover, responding paramedics took Som, who had suffered serious injuries, to St. Agnes Medical Center, where he later died.

Furthermore, friends and Family of Som put up a GoFundMe page to help with the funeral expenses.

At this time, Fresno officials are currently investigating the fatal car collision.
