Is your kid obsessed with heavy-metal rock lyrics? Or is he constantly making sketches of roadkill? Mere child's play. Proper satanic abuse begins at home. If you want to see how it's really done, attend a re-creation of a Process Church Sabbath Assembly ritual. The Process Church may have been the most dangerous satanic cult in America. (Hey, Marianne Faithful, George Clinton and Mick Jagger had ties to it, so it must be legit! And if you believe that, I have a valuable Holy Modal Rounders album to sell you.) Or, maybe they were just some black-cloaked nerds desperately trying to look cool as they hawked a theology that proposed a reconciliation of Christ and Satan. (Don't reunions make you misty?) Anyhoo, the show, er, re-creation is presented by Feral House and Process Books, and includes hymns sung by the Sabbath Assembly Band, followed by a discussion with Timothy Wyllie, author of Occult USA: The Process Church of the Final Judgment, who will recount his time in the cult.
