Some Republicans might not like abortion for victims of rape unless, you know, it's “legit rape.” Likewise some of those on the far-right side of the GOP aren't really big on birth control. Or “sluts” who want to speak out about the right to contraception, for that matter.

But don't get us wrong. Republicans support women. One dollar at a time.

L.A.'s own Lisa Ann, star of porn flick Who's Nailin' Paylin?, set out to prove that with a strip club visit to the Republican National Convention in Tampa recently (warning: NSFW video):

She made a weekend visit to Tampa's Thee DollHouse strip club, dressed up as Palin, and showed off her platform(s).

While it's not 100 percent confirmed that party faithful in town for Mitt Romney's nominating convention, which officially starts today, were in the house, a few reports indicated that red-state officials were indeed representing like fat cats at on a golf course.

No word on cigar smoke fogging the outside of the club, but this regular at the DollHouse says it was more crowded than a welfare line. And the Tampa Bay Times said this:

Before hoots and hollers, the impersonator unfurled her hair and played peek-a-boo with her 38DD breasts and black corset. She soon disrobed and gyrated on the floor, toward men and women raining dollars.

Some of them were here for the RNC, swore Tiffany Mitchell, the front attendant who checks drivers' licenses.

“The main people I'm seeing is Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.,” she said. “They are dressed nicer, more conservative. Business casual for the men and Ann Taylor Loft for the women, for sure.”

There you have it. Republicans respect women. Except the ones who vote.
