36-Year-Old Woman Killed in Big Rig Collision on 10 Freeway

BALDWIN PARK, CA (August 05, 2021) 36-year-old Sandy Rocha died tragically Sunday morning after a big rig collision on 10 Freeway.

The tragic crash happened just after 4:15 a.m. August 1, on the westbound San Bernardino 10 Freeway at Frazier Street.

According to the CHP, Rocha was driving a 2011 Hyundai at unreasonable speeds for the traffic flow when she rear-ended a 2013 Freightliner.

Despite efforts to save her life, Rocha was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other injuries reported.

Meanwhile, the big rig driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.

The sequence of events leading up to the accident is unknown. An active investigation, on the other hand, is underway.
