Never at a loss for words, the multi-hyphen entertainer returns with her one-woman music/stand-up/burlesque show Sandyland, which she’s been performing since last year. Sandra Bernhard has come full circle, having started her comedic career at the Comedy Store in the ‘70s, later appearing in such film and TV roles as Martin Scorsese’s The King of Comedy and Roseanne. (Recently, she had a recurring role in the ABC Family drama Switched at Birth). Backed by a four-piece band the Flawless Zircons, the cabaret queen blends familiar pop tunes with her trademark witty commentary on her life, showbiz and pop culture.
