10:30 a.m.
“Divas and Golden Lassoes: The LGBT Obsession with Super Heroines”
Prism Comics founder Charles “Zan” Christensen moderates this panel that asks why female superheroes are popular within the LGBT community.
11:15 a.m.
“Walt Disney Pictures: TRON: Legacy“
Patton Oswalt moderates this panel for the much anticipated follow-up to Tron featuring director Joe Kosinski along with producers and cast members. The schedule mentions “exclusive” clips from the film. We're hoping some of those scenes will feature a bit of Daft Punk's score.
12 p.m.
“Caprica, Battlestar, and Beyond”
If you can't get enough of the Battlestar Galactica universe, check out this panel for discussion and trailers.
“Gamera, The Invincible!”
Kaiju fans take note, this panel dedicated to oversized turtle Gamera is going to be packed with goodies, including behind-the-scenes footage and prizes.
1 p.m.
“USA Network's Burn Notice“
This panel boasts a special “how to survive Comic-Con” video starring Jeffrey Donovan, aka Burn Notice's Michael Westen, and previews of the upcoming season, but we have another reason for recommending this. Bruce Campbell.
1:30 p.m.
“Bill Plympton's Hair High and Adventures in Plymptoons“
You know you're part of the MTV generation when you hear the name Bill Plympton and think of a face turning into a balloon and popping. Thursday afternoon, though, will be about Hair High, the 2004 animated feature starring Sarah Silverman and Dermot Mulroney, and the forthcoming documentary Adventures in Plymptoons.
Childrens Hospital hits Comic-Con on July 22
2:30 p.m.
“A Decade of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Squidbillies and More: The Animated Insanity of Radical Axis Studios”
Aqua Teen Hunger Force is probably the weirdest show to stay on the air for close to a decade. The show's co-creator Matt Maiellaro joins ATHF and Squidbillies animators Radical Axis Studios to celebrate the company's tenth anniversary.
4:30 p.m.
“The Best and Worst of Manga 2010”
If you're looking for new reading material, this is the place to be. Panelist Deb Aoki, of manga.about.com, turned me onto a series called Emma a while back and it quickly became a favorite. You'll be in good hands.
5 p.m.
“SFX presents The British Invasion”
Want to know why Dr. Who is so addictive? This panel will explore the world of British science fiction and includes writer Paul Cornell from Dr. Who as well as Being Human creator Toby Whithouse.
“Look Around You”
Anglophiles will have a tough decision on Thursday as “The British Invasion” goes up against Look Around You. Robert Popper and Peter Serafinowicz, who created and starred in this parody of educational films, will be on hand.
“Adult Swim: Childrens Hospital“
Likewise, Adult Swim fans will have to make the call between Look Around You and Childrens Hospital. Rob Corddry and Jon Stern's web series takes the jump into cable television this Sunday when it launches on Adult Swim. They'll be at Comic-Con alongside co-stars Lake Bell, Erinn Hayes and Rob Huebel.
6 p.m.
“Universal: Scott Pilgrim vs. the World“
Universal's gathering for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is bound to be the big event of Thursday. Just watch the trailer and you'll know why.
6:15 p.m.
“Vertigo: The New Classics”
It's Comic-Con, you should hit up at least one comic book-centric panel. Vertigo's event will feature the people behind Sweet Tooth, American Vampire, The Unwritten and iZombie.
6:30 p.m.
“Bandai Entertainment: 2010 and Beyond”
According to the schedule, Bandai will be discussing The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, which your Comic-Con reporters caught at the Sunset 5 recently (see “The Fandom of Haruhi Suzumiya”), cult hit Gurren Lagann, Zeta Gundam and Lucky Star. If that's not enough for you, there will be freebies as well.

8 p.m.
“BBC America: U.S. Premiere Screenings of Doctor Who and Being Human“
For fans of the Eleventh Doctor, is this a must. BBC America will be screening the two-part season finale for the first time in the U.S. Thursday night. The vampire, werewolf and ghost crowd will want to check out the season premiere of Being Human.
8:15 p.m.
“The Sushi Typhoon: The Best in Japanese Genre Movies”
The Sushi Typhoon is a new imprint dedicated to Japanese genre films. They're currently working with Funimation to bring some of those titles to the U.S. This trailer-oriented panel is a precursor for Friday night's screenings of Alien vs. Ninja and Mutant Girls Squad.
“Superhero Kung Fu Extravaganza”
Ric Meyers' long-running Comic-Con event will feature special guests, giveaways and a lot of on screen fighting.
