More in “San Diego Comic-Con Announces Thursday July 21 Schedule: Bruce Campbell, Yoshiki, Stan Lee, Mike Judge and More” and “San Diego Comic-Con Announces Saturday, July 23 Schedule: Steampunk, Adventure Time, The Last Airbender, Robert Kirkman and More.”

San Diego Comic-Con just posted it's panel schedule for Friday, July 22. For fans of Adult Swim's cult favorite series, The Venture Bros., you'll want to mark this down (and prepare to get in line early) as Friday morning marks the sneak preview of From the Ladle to the Grave: The Story of Shallow Gravy. This is the hotly-anticipated 15-minute Venture Bros. special that won't be airing until August 28. But, that's not all. See our picks after the jump. View the whole schedule on SDCC's website.

10-11 a.m., Torchwood: Miracle Day, Ballroom 20

Torchwood is a popular series and this is one of the first handful of panels of the day. So, we can't help but wonder, exactly how early does one have to get in line to see John Barrowman, Eve Myles, Mekhi Phifer, Bill Pullman, Alexa Havins and Lauren Ambrose?

11 a.m.- 12 p.m., Roman Dirge, Room 23ABC

Do you have a question for comic book creator Roman Dirge? Then you might want to stop by this interview and Q/A session with the mind behind series like Lenore.

11:15-12:15 p.m., AMC's The Walking Dead, Ballroom 20

Robert Kirkman's comic book-turned-TV series is a huge hit and this panel should be one of the buzzworthy events of the weekend. Kirkman will be on hand as well as stars from the AMC zombie apocalypse drama. There will be a preview of season 2.

11:45-12:30, Adult Swim: The Venture Bros., Indigo Ballroom Hilton San Diego Bayfront

If you're a fan of The Venture Bros. and you haven't been to one of the show's SDCC panels, you'll need to go this year. They're kind of ridiculous. They're completely entertaining. And, this year, Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick are screening the forthcoming special From the Ladle to the Grave: The Story of Shallow Gravy. This is the hotly-anticipated 15-minute Venture Bros. James Urbaniak, who plays Dr. Venture and was in LA Weekly's Best of L.A. People issue last spring, will also be on hand for the panel.

3-4 p.m., DC: Superman, Room 6DE

Curious about the DC Comic's upcoming reboot? Grant Morrisson and J. Michael Straczynski will be on hand for a look at what's to come with Superman.

3 – 4 p.m., Eureka, Ballroom 20

Fans of the SyFy show Eureka will not be disappointed with this panel that brings together the show's stars and producers with guest star/geek icon Felicia Day. If that weren't enough, it's going to be moderated by the one and only Wil Wheaton.

3:30-4:30 p.m., ThunderCats Premiere Episode Screening and Q/A, Room 6A

ThunderCats are coming back to the small screen. Check out the premiere episode a week before it airs on Cartoon Network and ask questions to the team behind the new series.

4:30-5 p.m., Adult Swim: Eagleheart, Indigo Ballroom Hilton San Diego Bayfront

Whether you were a fan of Chris Elliott's late, great show Get a Life, or you were just introduced to his work through Adult Swim's series Eagleheart, this panel should be a treat.

8:30 – 11:30 p.m., Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, Indigo Ballroom Hilton San Diego Bayfront

See who wins at the 23rd annual awards presentation.

9-10 p.m., Worst Cartoons Ever, Room 6BCF

Cartoon Brew's Jerry Beck, who also hosts the great Animation Tuesdays series at Cinefamily in Los Angeles, presents exactly what the title states.
