Randall Sali Involved in Fatal Collision near Mile Post 33

YAKIMA, WA (November 30, 2022) – Early Monday morning, Samantha Webb was fatally struck in a hit-and-run on Interstate 82.

Around 12:19 a.m., police responded to the scene near mile post 33, according to initial reports.

Per Yakima authorities, 41-year-old Randall Sali, of Moxee was driving an eastbound Ford F350 with Webb as the passenger. For reasons unknown, Webb exited the moving vehicle and was struck by another driver in the right lane.

After the impact, the vehicle that struck Webb immediately fled the scene without contacting authorities or providing aid.

Medical personnel arrived shortly after and pronounced 48-year-old Webb, of Yakima dead at the scene.

Following preliminary duties, authorities were unsure if impairment played a factor. However, an active investigation is still currently underway. At this time, the suspect remains at large.
