37-Year-Old Female Pedestrian Dies in Fatal Olidale Collision

OLIDALE, CA (October 26, 2021) –  Samantha Sharp, 37, lost her life in a pedestrian accident on Norris Road, on Friday night.

The incident happened around 7:00 p.m., in the area near Norris Road and California Street on October 22. Crews arrived to the scene shortly after.

California Highway Patrol officers say two vehicles were involved. However, the events that led to the crash are still unknown.

Upon arrival, officers located a pedestrian dead on scene. Authorities identified the victim as 37-year-old Samantha Sharp, of Bakersfield.

At this time, investigators say that alcohol and drugs were not considered to be factors in the collision. Although, an active investigation is still currently underway.
