39-Year-Old Driver Dies in Fatal Solo-Car Crash on Country Road

DAVIS, CA (October 4, 2021) A 39-year-old Sacramento man lost his life Sunday after a DUI solo-car crash on Country Road near Interstate 80.

The incident occurred around 2:50 a.m. on County Road 32B, just south of Interstate 80 and a few miles east of Davis.

According to the CHP, the Sacramento man was traveling alone in a 2018 Ford F-150 east on the road when the pickup veered off the road.

As a result, the truck collided with a tree just east of the Tsakopoulos Family Soccer Complex.

Responding officers located the man dead at the scene. At this time, officials withheld his identity until his next of kin is notified.
