When you hear “free clinic,” a luxury food and wine event might not be the first thing that comes to mind. But for thirteen years running, The Saban Free Clinic — which provides free health care, dental and social services to the Los Angeles community — has been host to one of LA's largest culinary events: The Annual Extravaganza for the Senses. On Saturday, July 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., The Saban Free Clinic will celebrate its 43rd anniversary at Sunset Gower Studios by bringing together the cuisine of 40 of LA's top restaurants, and over 80 California vintners.

Restaurants include Jar, Chaya, Pace, Delphine and Valerie Confections (among others) and vintners like Grgich Hills, Justin, Schramsberg and Stag's Leap Wine Cellars. That's in addition to a cooking demonstration from Jar's Suzanne Tracht and entertainment from DJ Scott Silva, fortune tellers and a photo booth. If you really want to give back — remember, all proceeds go to The Saban Free Clinic — there's a silent auction with a trip to Bahamas' Atlantis Resort; tickets to the premiere of Angelina Jolie's new film, Salt; a walk-on role to the FOX show, Bones; and more.

General admission starts at $100; you get unlimited food and drink samples and free massages from El Leon Spa. A $225 VIP ticket ups the ante with early admission, valet parking and access to a private VIP lounge (don't forget to hit up the Bliss Spa massage area). Tickets are available online now through The Saban Free Clinic's website or by calling (323) 330-1670. For more information, follow @SabanFC on Twitter.
