38-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Collision on McVicker Canyon Park Road

LAKE ELSINORE, CA (February 10, 2022) – A motorcycle crash on Grand Avenue claimed the life of Ryan Rice, Sunday evening.

According to reports, the incident happened just after 7:00 p.m., at the intersection of McVicker Canyon Park Road and Grand Avenue.

Preliminary investigations determined that the rider ran a red light. As a result, he collided with a sedan traveling through a green light at the intersection.

The impact ejected Rice from his bike onto Grand Avenue. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, crews pronounced 38-year-old Rice, of Lake Elsinore dead.

Paramedics also transported the driver of the vehicle to an area hospital for minor injuries.

At this time, the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station is still currently investigating the deadly motorcycle crash. Once available, further details will be provided.
