The Adult Swim Festival brought together a highly eclectic mix of performances for its inaugural weekend, Oct. 5-7, at the Row in DTLA. The genre-meshing fest had everything from metal to bounce, hip-hop to folk rock and a healthy dose of dance and electronica, as well as comedy performances and stand-up acts. Among the highlights of the festival were Run the Jewels, Mastodon, High on Fire, Big Freedia, T-Pain, Neko Case, Zola Jesus, Thundercat, Hannibal Buress, Power Trip, Code Orange, Dorian Concept, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Trippie Red, Kamaiyah and The Rick & Morty Musical Ricksperience performed by a live orchestra.
