34-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Multi-Car Accident near Oak Hill Road

CAJON PASS, CA (April 20, 2022) – Friday afternoon, Rudy Romero died in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15, authorities reported.

The incident occurred sometime before 1:49 p.m., on April 15th. Crews arrived to the scene on the southbound lanes near the Oak Hill Road exit.

Upon responding to the scene, police found a sliver Honda Accord, a dark blue Kia Sportage, and a big-rig among the vehicles involved.

Reported as the lone casualty was 34-year-old Romero of Fontana. He was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities due to the extent of his injuries.

No further details regarding the collision are public at this time. More information will be provided once made available, as an active investigation is currently underway.
