70-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Hit-and-Run Collision on Country Club Drive

MESA, AZ (January 3, 2022) – Wednesday night, a hit-and-run crash on 6th street claimed the life of Rudolph Hill.

The crash took place around 9:30 p.m., at the intersection of Country Club Drive and 6th Street. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to reports, the driver of a vehicle was heading north through a green signal and struck a pedestrian. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene.

Officers are now on the lookout for the suspect truck, which is described as a lifted 2015-2020 Ford F150 crew cab with huge tires and dark-tinted windows. The driver’s side mirror, which was discovered at the site, is missing from the truck.

Due to the impact of the collision, Rudolph Hill was pronounced dead at the scene.

Any additional information regarding the fatal collision is not available at this time.
