Deceased Victims Killed in Berkeley Hills Car Crash Identified

BERKELEY, CA (May 17, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, Ruby Edwards and Anthony Rollins were killed in a fatal crash on Marin Avenue.

According to reports, the crash occurred at 1:39 p.m., in the 2200 block of Marin Avenue, near Spruce Street.

At this time, the events leading up to the accident remain unclear. However, emergency crews pronounced a female passenger dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported the male driver of the vehicle to a nearby hospital with critical wounds. Due to the extent of his condition, he later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The two victims were later identified as 57-year-old Ruby Jean Edwards and 64-year-old Anthony Keith Rollins.

Moreover, a woman traveling with her young child also sustained moderate injuries as a result of the crash. Although, the child did not suffer from any injuries.

Additionally, a power pole was struck and caused a power outage in the area.
