How's about this for some exciting news on National Fried Chicken Day? Starting on July 14, A-Frame will be offering all-you-can-eat fried chicken on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-3 p.m. for only $18. Chef Roy Choi has engineered his own “krispy” buttermilk fried chicken recipe using sous-vided thighs and legs, a blend of secret herb and spices, and a dredge through rice flour for crunch. But wait, there's more!

Also included will be “supermarket-style” deli potato salad made with mashed sweet potatoes, pickled shallots, and whole grain mustard vinaigrette and a zucchini and cabbage coleslaw made with buttermilk-Dijon dressing. You can even add bottomless glasses of the Korean lager Hite for another $10, in case you want to turn your weekend picnic into a boozy brunch.

Let the chicken-fest begin.
