34-Year-Old Scooter Rider Dead after Hit-and-Run Crash on Taylor Street

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 6, 2022) – Sunday evening, medics pronounced Rosalyn Barnett dead after a hit-and-run crash on Turk Street.

Police responded to the scene around 8:30 p.m., at the intersection of Turk and Taylor Street.

According to reports, the woman was riding a scooter in the area when the driver of a vehicle struck her under unknown circumstances.

Upon impact, the involved driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the pedestrian.

Paramedics arrived and transported the female victim to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Medics later pronounced 34-year-old Barnett, of San Francisco dead at the hospital.

The suspect’s vehicle was described as a black unknown model, according to a police report. At this time, authorities are yet to determine if drugs and/or alcohol played a role in the incident.

San Francisco Officials continue to investigate the fatal hit-and-run crash at this time.
