53-Year-Old Woman Killed in Pedestrian Collision near Boeing Access Road

TUKWILA, WA (October 5, 2021) – Sunday night, 53-year-old Ronja Collins was fatally struck by a vehicle on Interstate 5.

Per reports, Collins was a passenger inside a vehicle that was heading south on the highway near Boeing Access Road.

For reasons unknown, Collins and the driver got into a fight before pulling over on the left shoulder of the road. Collins then proceeded to exit the vehicle, where she was struck by a passing vehicle.

First responders arrived and pronounced Collins dead at the scene.

The surrounding area was closed during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the road has since been reopened to traffic.

At this time, the identity of the driver has not yet been disclosed. More information will be provided once made available.
