Giovanni Fissore Arrested after Pedestrian Crash near Houston Place

DUBLIN, CA (August 5, 2022) – Sunday night, police arrested Giovanni Fissore after a DUI collision claimed the life of Roni Gage.

The incident happened on July 31st, at around 10:00 p.m., near the 6200 block of Dougherty Road.

According to Dublin Police, Gage was walking along the southbound lanes when she was fatally struck by Chevrolet SUV, driven by Fissore.

Emergency crews arrived at the site of the incident and rendered first aid. However, despite life saving efforts, 39-year-old Gage did not survive.

Meanwhile, Fissore remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Police later arrested Fissore on suspicion of driving under the influence.
