Bicycle vs Vehicle Crash on Moraga Road Kills 77-Year-Old Roger Russell

MARTINEZ, CA (November 30, 2021) Roger Russell, 77, died after a vehicle vs bicycle collision along Moraga Road last Friday.

The collision took place around 10:15 a.m. along Moraga, near Lucas Drive.

According to reports, Russell was riding his bike along the roadway when a motorist collided with him for reasons unknown.

Russell had suffered serious injuries and was declared dead on the scene.

Additionally, the unidentified driver remained at the scene to cooperate with authorities.

Furthermore, officials closed the roadway for about an hour for cleanup and preliminary duties.
