Driver Arrested after Hit-and-Run Collision on East Sierra Avenue

CLOVIS, CA (December 28, 2021) – Officials arrested Roger Crawford, 60, of Clovis, after a DUI hit-and-run crash on North Willow Avenue.

The incident happened around 8:00 a.m., along Willow and Sierra Avenue. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.

As per reports, Crawford collided into another car at the intersection and fled the scene. As a result, police began their pursuit. Officers eventually discovered Crawford traveling at a slow speed with a blown-out front tire.

Police then arrested Roger Crawford and booked him on charges relating to the incident, including driving with an alcohol level of three times the legal limit.

At this time, police have not released further information. However, Clovis police continue to investigate the accident.
