Car Collision on Thomas Road Left 47-Year-Old Man Dead

PHOENIX, AZ (February 2, 2022) – A car collision on 91st Avenue claimed the life of Rogelio Hernandez-Ramos early Sunday morning.

The car collision happened at 91st Avenue and Thomas Road, near a west Phoenix intersection, just before 3:30 a.m.

Paramedics responded to the scene upon receiving the report about the crash.

Furthermore, according to the authorities, a Nissan 350Z heading west on Thomas Road ran a red light. Eventually, the vehicle struck a van that was heading south on 91st Avenue.

Consequently, 47-year-old Ramos, driver of the van died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Nissan was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Both directions of the roadway were closed down for an unknown amount of time to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated by the officers.
