Dec. 14-20, 2007
It's a little early for the 2008 forecast, but since one
of the major changes that'll affect you big time takes place on Tuesday,
here goes. Before Jupiter leaves high-spirited Sagittarius, the sign it rules,
for earthbound Capricorn, you could have an interesting change of heart. On the
17th, lovable Venus in sexy Scorpio finds favor with exotic, erotic Uranus. On
the 19th Saturn in Virgo turns retrograde until the beginning of May, while Mercury
and Pluto trade secrets that day. The sun merges with Pluto on the 20th and crosses
over to Capricorn the night of the 21st.

Aries

One of the opportunities for individual growth during
2008 might manifest as early as this week. If there's a chance to travel
to far away places, even to another coast, by all means follow through on the
offer, no matter what it takes. “Great good fortune” as the I Ching
says, comes to Rams eager to gain more knowledge about the planet and, while you're
at it, figure out how to prosper in a foreign land. With expansive Jupiter in
your Capricorn career house for the next 12 months, your reputation could grow
as big as your bankroll.

Taurus

To think that a practical, albeit sensual Taurus could
focus so much attention on enjoying the fruits of other people's money this
holiday season is truly mind boggling. However, such is the case. Be it an investment,
an insurance award or an inheritance, graciously accepting these “gifts”
will carry you well into the new year. But if acquisitions aren't your cup
of tea, the romantics among you might be equally thrilled with the action your
affectionate Venus ruler attracts while passing through your Scorpio marriage
house.

Gemini

There are quite a few astrological high points scheduled
for the rest of the year, but the one that can have the greatest impact on you
personally is the union of your Mercury ruler and the sun in your Sagittarius
marriage house on the 17th. Because Mercury is so NOT retrograde, the messages
you hear, the images you envision will likely be about your future rather than
your past. The 19th can also be significant: Mercury conjuncts powerful, clandestine
Pluto before crossing into Capricorn, the sign of the ruling class, the next day.

Cancer

With so many star-driven events on tap, this holiday
season could be a crucial one in world history, and a noteworthy one in your diary.
After generous Jupiter enters your Capricorn complement on the 18th, start looking
for a “sugar daddy” or “sweet mama” who can provide the
kind of opportunities you haven't been offered since 1995. Can't remember
that far back? Ask a sober sibling or neighbor. Since prudent Saturn has settled
in their zone, they're the folks you can rely on for the next two years.

Leo

The hot, fun times won't stop when jolly Jupiter
leaves fiery Sagittarius for highly structured, goal-oriented Capricorn, but your
aspirations could burn a little brighter. This is especially true after your sun
ruler conjuncts regenerative Pluto, crosses the Galactic Core and enters the sign
of the Executive at the solstice. With so much astrological activity in your house
of work habits, diet and health, it should be relatively easy to stick with a
few New Year's resolutions, e.g., to get out of debt and whip your body
into shape.

Virgo

For the past year expansive Jupiter has been busy
stretching your concept of roots; next year you'll be encouraged to enjoy
the rewards of the seeds you've sown. The gigantic gassy guy enters your
Capricorn house of creativity, recreation and romance on the 18th, followed by
your Mercury ruler on the 20th and, on the solstice, the sun. In mid-January powerful
Pluto will follow suit. This is a major shift in your chart, and while not every
Virgin will respond to these stimuli at the same time, those born in August should
look for the mistletoe ASAP.

Libra

Becoming friendly with the neighbors, celebrating
each other's good fortune and looking after one another's interests
can be attributed to Jupiter's transit this year through your Sagittarius
house of neighbors, fellow students, even e-mail correspondents. Although the
good feelings you've shared won't necessarily end after Jupiter moves
into ambitious Capricorn, the benefits it bestows are more likely to flow both
to and from close family members. Maybe you'll start a business from home
or undertake an extensive remodeling project.

Scorpio

Unless you were born on the Libra cusp, Scorpio
can still enjoy the power, the glory and the enormous financial potential that
stems from your Pluto co-ruler's position in late Sagittarius/early Capricorn
during 2008. While generous Jupiter leaves your Sag money house on the 18th, not
to return for another 12 years, slow-moving Pluto isn't going far. Depending
on whether Jupiter's yearlong visit cost you a small fortune or provided
opportunities to earn one, this news could be either thrilling or chilling.

Sagittarius

While some Archers may mourn the loss of
your Jupiter ruler as it progresses on to Capricorn, others will be cheered by
the thought that the Great Benefactor will spend 2008 in their house of assets
and acquisitions. How much and how soon? It pretty much depends on what you set
up for yourself in 2007, what chances you took and how rosy was the lens you were
looking through. Chances are those of you with Sag rising were more perspicuous
than those of us with our natal suns in this sunny sign and a different Ascendant.

Capricorn

You don't have to wait until Christmas
for the best gift of them all. Once-benevolent Jupiter enters your sign on the
18th, your year of good fortune, good health and happiness begins. Take a minute
around the solstice to envision what you want to occur during the next 12 months
and the ways in which your life can be enriched. Not only will you have expansive
Jupiter offering opportunities for financial and intellectual growth, but Pluto's
16-year transit of Capricorn and your personal transformation starts as January
ends.

Aquarius

Sociable Aquarians might finally do enough party
hopping this holiday season to last, if not a lifetime, then until Aquarius begins
next month. With four planets in your house of acquaintances, colleagues and the
rest of humanity emphasizing your concern for a bunch of worthy causes, you may
welcome three of those planets shifting from optimistic Sag to pragmatic Capricorn.
Despite these dramatic changes, will you be more interested in what can actually
be achieved than in the glamorous folks you're hobnobbing with?

Pisces

Fish might not notice that one by one the pressures
you've been under are fading from view. The first and most important would
result from expansive, expensive Jupiter leaving your Sagittarius career midheaven
for the more practical realm ruled by Capricorn. Once the incentive to do more,
be more and accumulate more has been lifted, you can relax a bit. Then, as winter
arrives and romantic Venus provokes your Neptune ruler, you may notice that an
attractive person is interested in knowing you a lot better.
