Dec. 7 – 13, 2007
We walk a thin line this weekend between strange and stable,
kooky and comforting until Sunday, when the Sagittarius new moon introduces something
that's bigger than a breadbox. How huge, how majestic, how terrifying we
won't know until Jupiter and Pluto have merged their energies on Tuesday
at the Galactic Core of the Milky Way. But if you're involved in a juicy
romance generated by another favorable Venus-Mars hook up, would you care?

Aries

Arrangements that seemed to be set in stone could
suddenly disintegrate over the weekend. If too many obligations were wearing you
down, this news should be a blessed relief. If you were looking forward to a special
holiday treat, you'll be disappointed. Either way, you probably won't
have a clue about what to do next until a few days after the Sagittarius new moon
kicks in. But by Tuesday, while loving Venus is rewarding your Mars ruler, you
might not care about the future as much as what's happening at the moment
and how you feel about it.

Taurus

It being the holidays, what with all the greeting cards
and company parties, you shouldn't be surprised if the romantic mood that's
about to engulf you rekindles a former love affair. While Mars saunters back through
nostalgic Cancer and your Venus ruler makes its annual trek through your Scorpio
house of significant others, a chapter of your dating history could be repeated.
Of course you'll be a much wiser, more reserved Bull this time around thanks
to Saturn's stabilizing influence over your house of risk and romance.

Gemini

It's not forever, however until the 20th, while
your speedy Mercury ruler is still transiting your Sagittarius house of partners,
you're likely to experience a series of highs along with one marginally
depressing low. If you're currently in the dumps because sourpuss Saturn
notified you of a disappointing development, then the surprises scheduled for
the rest of the week should elate you. Just know in advance that, as the Messenger
contacts electric, eclectic Uranus on Monday, someone, something brand new may
enter your life. Brilliant!

Cancer

I'm tempted to repeat last week's forecast
because it is rife with possibilities that can benefit a Moon Child. (Check out
the potential for romance.) Thanks to the new moon on Sunday occurring in your
Sag house of co-workers, health practices and your daily routine, you can anticipate
a new leaf being turned in that quarter. How dramatic an impact the lunation will
have on you personally depends on how the cosmic conjunction in Sag of future-oriented
Jupiter and powerful Pluto at the core of our galaxy affects the rest of us on
planet Earth.

Leo

As long as your sun ruler is in your Sag house of creativity
and recreation, you'll remain focused on having fun, playing games or getting
pregnant. If, for one reason or another, you're tempted to take a risk or
try something new, do it on Friday when the sun aligns with innovative Uranus.
The outcome could be astonishing, probably expensive, too. A softer, richer and
more uplifting experience comes about mid-week when the expansive Sagittarius
solar vibe supports idealistic and romantic Neptune in your marriage house.

Virgo

Sometimes too much is simply too much. Such is
often the case this time of year when planets traveling through over-the-top Sagittarius
are given free rein. That sort of excessive behavior may happen this week when
first the sun and shortly thereafter your Mercury ruler challenge erratic Uranus
in your Pisces house of allies and antagonists. It's the enemy element,
e.g. an ex or, more likely, a current competitor, who can evoke an outrageous
response from the normally circumspect Virgin. How romantic? It's up to
you.

Libra

Is it love, an acquisitive streak or party politics?
There's a reward coming this week while your Venus ruler in your Scorpio
house of assets and values finds favor with macho Mars in your patriotic Cancer
midheaven. What have you done to deserve this reward and can you, should you do
it again? Asking an experienced colleague for advice when pragmatic Saturn enters
the picture on Wednesday not only makes sense, but it can solidify support among
your peers. For the time being, there is no discernible conflict looming on the
horizon. Enjoy.

Scorpio

Everyone approaches the holidays with the hope
of finding someone else to love. Lucky for you, having magnetic Venus in your
sign in a rewarding relationship with your Mars co-ruler suggests that you can't
help but succeed. Venus in Scorpio makes you an even greater object of desire,
while Mars in cozy Cancer softens the aggressive vibe you've been known
to off. All this, plus a host of planets – Mercury, the sun, Jupiter, your
Pluto co-ruler and, this weekend, the moon – in your Sagittarius money house.
Something big is about to begin.

Sagittarius

You might encounter a bump in the road on
Friday when the Sag sun and idiosyncratic Uranus question your ability to adjust
to a changing condition. Since you've had lots of experience proving how
adaptable you can be, chances are you won't be thrown off course. But if
you decide to take another route, wait until you get an idea of what the Sag new
moon on Sunday will initiate before starting out. Or better yet, see what happens
when your gigantic Jupiter ruler finally merges with subterranean, subatomic,
supremely powerful Pluto on Tuesday.

Capricorn

In the midst of cosmic events you can't
control, why not concentrate on things that you can? Gossipy Mercury checks in
by Friday, bearing, if not exactly good news, then the suggestion that something
eventually positive is on its way. All you have to do is deal with it. But better
than hints and clues about the future is the active involvement of a ally, gladly
offered while Mars favors Saturn over the weekend. Not only is this an excellent
opportunity to bond with a “man's man,” but both young and old
can benefit from the experience.

Aquarius

Since you got a heads up last week about the
current volatility of your Uranus ruler, you don't need to be reminded that
big changes are in the wind. If you're the suspicious type, rethink your
gift list and decide which of your colleagues has been sufficiently naughty to
be X'd out. If you're the “hail fellow, well met” type,
define what “nice” means to you. It's only because the connection
between your assets and your acquaintances is being tested, am I pointing to potential
problems you might not be aware of.

Pisces

Read for Aquarius. Once again, you're on a
similar track, only it's your boss, your parents or a government official
who is challenging your individuality and/or testing your originality. Let's
hope the test is simply to come up with a gift that'll surprise, not anything
that'll land you in court. The Sagittarius new moon could provide an opportunity
to do something new career wise, e.g., if ever you saw yourself doing stand-up,
this is the time to find an open mike. Plus, keep in mind that the aspects for
romance are more than favorable.
