A lot of talk, some questionable action. Mercury makes the most
productive use of the astro-energy this week when it forms favorable trines to
Saturn and Jupiter on Saturday. The Messenger's high-minded sextile to idealistic
Neptune on Sunday should inspire memorable Earth Day speeches. Whether there's
any subsequent action (other than serious flirting) while Venus and Mars do their
dance is up to you, the natives of the signs — Taurus, Libra, Aries and
Scorpio — these planets rule.

Aries

Garrulous, glib or genius? Think about the impression you could make as chatty
Mercury in your sign contacts four other planets and, more to the point, influential
natives of the signs those planets govern. For this week only, Capricorns, Sagittarians,
Pisceans and Scorpions are predisposed to react favorably to what you propose,
so tailor your pitch to suit your audience. Try not to be distracted by a chance
to chase after a romantic interest, something that seems to happen whenever your
Mars ruler and flirty Venus play “catch me if you can.”

Taurus

Saturn turning direct in your Leo house of home repairs and relatives in rehab
could bring an end to those tales of woe. After four long months of retrograde
inaction, look for signs of real progress before Saturn vacates the premises around
Labor Day. But since Saturn moves so slowly, you won't be disappointed if
you see baby steps instead of giant strides forward. Meanwhile, your Venus ruler
is hot on the trail of trouble this week, sniffing out the most outrageous or
unpredictable partner imaginable. What gives?

Gemini

Bonding with Bulls and Scales while you pursue (and are pursued in turn by) Rams
and Scorpions? Oh, and let's not forget the wayward Fish and the Water-Bearers
transporting them. Lots of thrusts and parries this week as vivacious Venus in
Gemini flits from sign to sign, trying to get a rise (i.e., an opportunity in
disguise) from at least one of them. Since your clever Mercury ruler is also in
contact with lots of planets/people, the message you convey in words could be
easier to interpret than your body language.

Cancer

Since the impetus following Tuesday's Aries new moon is still with us, the
Moon Child should direct as much energy as possible toward nailing down at least
one of your current career objectives. Because your ruling “light”
makes so many rewarding aspects on Friday, that should be the day to make your
move. The Cancer moon over the weekend is more conducive to helping you feel comfortable
in your own skin by doing what comes naturally. However, data-gathering Mercury
is willing to provide the facts and figures you might need. Use it.

Leo

Heads up! Coming out of left field or a foreign database is the information necessary
to complete a difficult task. Thank Mercury for rewarding hard-working Saturn
so soon after emerging from retrograde in your sign, but be aware that in matters
that involve Saturn, speed is rarely of the essence. Meanwhile, as your sun ruler
makes inroads deeper into practical Taurus, July Leos might feel pressured to
undertake even more than before. Try as you may, you can't cover all the
bases by yourself. So much for pride, ask for some help.

Virgo

Imagine getting what you want without having to struggle for it! I'm assuming
that the hard part, the groundwork, was laid a while back, and that all you need
to do this week is gather the rewards (other people's money and the resources
they've offered to share). Soon enough, your Mercury ruler will enter earthy
Taurus, where it'll instigate other conversations that'll lead to
other fruitful deals. Until next weekend, try to steer clear of the tension building
between a partner and a client who is more media-savvy than most.

Libra

A brave attempt at communicating face to face instead of dropping a couple of
well-placed hints could pay off this weekend because chatty Mercury is still in
Aries. For the time being, both official-type and casual conversations are more
likely than not to have favorable outcomes. Not so much next weekend. However,
while the Messenger may be helpful, your Venus ruler's testy square with
Mars on Earth Day could get you in trouble. Does the phrase splendor in the grass
bring a smile or send shivers up your spine?

Scorpio

For a rock-steady Scorpio, the thought of your Mars co-ruler hanging out with
unpredictable Uranus can be either thrilling or chilling. You'll get a chance
to confirm your opinion this weekend, when flirtatious Venus tries to tempt Mars
with an offer you don't want to, but probably should, refuse. Even if you
get through this challenging aspect okay, be prepared to pay the piper next Thursday,
when Venus pulls the same routine on Uranus. It's this intermittent physical
attraction that'll upset your apple cart, not straight, shoot-from-the-hip
interaction with co-workers and health providers.

Sagittarius

Words of love or comic relief; it won't make that big a difference if Mercury
utters what you want to hear. Which it will when the little guy favors both Jupiter
and Pluto in your sign. The trine to your Jupiter ruler often results in, if not
a literary coup per se, then something else you can brag about. However, for some
Archers, successfully solving a perplexing puzzle might be all the reward you
need. Meanwhile, what to do about Venus, the vixen, in your house of partners
challenging macho Mars as it dominates your home base? Fun and games or a badly
timed temper tantrum?

Capricorn

Diplomacy does the trick. It's the approach that would clinch the deal once
perceptive Mercury and your Saturn ruler form a positive trine aspect this weekend.
Matters related to housing, refinancing or a talkative (dare we say opinionated?)
parent can be settled more easily than you anticipate. Not the case with requests
(primarily financial) made by an attractive playmate or, because Venus is in the
sign of the Twins, two attractive playmates. That's a choice you don't
want to make, and with a bit more patience, you won't have to.

Aquarius

Solar Taurus can be a problematic period for you because so much attention is
focused on family relationships and what needs to be accomplished around the house.
Also, pragmatic Taurus is mainly interested in concrete results, not further discussions
about plausibility or sociopolitical correctness. As of the 19th, Saturn in your
Leo house of allies and antagonists will no longer be retrograde, so you may have
to deal with what'll happen once the sleeping giant awakens from its long
winter's nap. Hope for a harmless distraction.

Pisces

An excellent weekend for strutting your stuff. It's not often (every two
years) that self-confident Mars visits your sign at the same time that affectionate,
artistic Venus becomes fascinated by everything Pisces. You might have some competition
(Venus is in the sign of the Twins), but the attraction is unmistakable. You can
futz around for a few more days, but by the time Venus perfects its provocative
square to spur-of-the-moment Uranus next Thursday, it'll be too late to
change what you sensed from the beginning would happen.
