JUNE 8 – 14, 2007

It's a fairly chaotic week, what with the Gemini sun aggravating
unpredictable Uranus on Saturday, before it lends its solar power on Monday to
the favorable trine between macho Mars and paternal Saturn. If that doesn't
put you in the mood for Father's Day and all things masculine, nothing will.
Wednesday's adoration of ephemeral Neptune and the glorious visions it produces
sets the stage for the airy Gemini new moon on Thursday. Take a deep breath and
hope for the best. Mercury in Cancer turns retrograde on the 15th, but the little
guy can cause the usual hassles a few days before and after its target date.

Aries

Here's another promising forecast, perhaps with better odds of success than
the one based on prosperous Jupiter's optimistic vision. This week, Rams
are urged to follow the respectable, realistic advice Saturn offers as it trines
your impetuous Mars ruler. Because Saturn's wealth of experience is being
filtered through Leo, you should get to share in the Lion's fondness for
luxury. Now, while Mars is still in Aries, don't pass up any opportunity
that incorporates both your engaging personality and remarkable chutzpah.

Taurus

Even if it makes you feel uncomfortable, when the sun in your Gemini house of
assets, such as talent, favors imaginative Neptune in your career midheaven, you're
likely to be inspired. How this positive connection between money and name recognition
will pay off is anybody's guess. While the sun illuminates, Neptune tends
to confound. Mercury turning retrograde in early Cancer (June 15???July 9)
could mess with communication and transportation matters for Bulls born in April,
finances for those born in May.

Gemini

The best birthday present you receive this year might be more of a shock than
seeing a bunch of familiar faces yelling, “Surprise!” A challenging
assignment, a higher calling or a chance to explore a place you've longed
to visit? If “none of the above,” you could still be thrown for a
loop, in a good way, when the Gemini sun contacts inventive Uranus and artistic
Neptune. Despite your Mercury ruler's change of direction and because you're
familiar with what may happen, the usual retrograde hassles shouldn't hold
you back.

Cancer

It makes no difference what your gender is, this week father-son issues carry
a hefty amount of weight. Not simply because another Father's Day is on
the horizon, but because this year it's possible to benefit from the rewarding
trine between paternal Saturn in your Leo house of values and adventurous Mars
in your Aries midheaven. Some Crabs will profit financially by maintaining their
independence; others could find a way to reconcile experimentation with tradition.
Athletes, shrinks and cooks have the best shot.

Leo

Suggesting to a well-meaning Lion that setting limits is the best course may have
worked last week, but now that enthusiastic Jupiter is not such a compelling force,
the updated advice is: Go for it. A favorable trine from ballsy Mars may be able
to penetrate the conservative stance Saturn has imposed while it's been
in Leo for the past two years. No matter how this ultimately rewarding situation
comes about, you won't see anything like it for another 30 years. The new
moon arrives with a well-informed colleague in tow.

Virgo

Another week of excitement and/or tension, depending on how much is at stake.
If you're making a desperate attempt to succeed, having the media-friendly
Gemini sun at the top of your solar chart could be your ally. If you're
counting on partners' support, make sure that their contribution remains
within the realm of the possible. Too weird, too wired, too far ahead of the curve
can be a problem that won't get solved for another month or so. Remember:
Your Mercury ruler goes retrograde on the 15th for three weeks.

Libra

If your partner seemed overly optimistic last week, this week the pendulum swings
the other way. Not quite into depression, but toward a sobering awareness of the
way things tend to work out. Call it the voice of experience or Saturn's
steadying influence on impulsive Mars in your Aries marriage house. This rewarding
relationship can lead to an artistic project or a deeper commitment to a sports
team and its glamorous star. Should a talented loved one, e.g., the child prodigy,
figure into the scheme of things, so much the better.

Scorpio

Two years ago, when it entered your Leo midheaven, disciplined Saturn became more
involved in the development of your career, helping you form and, more important,
solidify connections to powerful people. This week, your energetic Mars co-ruler
perfects its rewarding trine to Saturn. Also this week, your other co-ruler, cautious
Pluto in your Sagittarius house of income earned and treasures acquired, is exposing
you to the wide range of possibilities that the versatile Gemini sun knows so
well. Ain't synchronicity grand!

Sagittarius

If you've been waiting for the other shoe in the apartment above yours to
drop, you won't have to wait much longer. The disturbance suggested by unruly
Uranus taking up residence where you live might be set off during a challenging
square from the Gemini sun. But before you blame your partner for making things
worse, consider the upside. Any change may turn out to be for the best. There's
only so much time one can spend hanging on tenterhooks. Mercury retrograde discourages
signing any agreements until mid-July.

Capricorn

The instrument of your good fortune could turn out to be a relative, The Home
Depot, the gardener or a realtor. But no matter how it manifests, be grateful
for the rewarding trine between assertive Mars in your Aries home base and your
Saturn ruler. Especially since Saturn is in your house of other people's
money, in luxury-loving Leo, no less. Mercury's retrograde trip through
your Cancer complement lasts from June 15 until July 9, and can affect relations
with co-workers, health professionals, pets and partners.

Aquarius

The last part of solar Gemini can be especially beneficial because the creative
sun in your house of recreation teams up with imaginative Neptune in Aquarius.
Although their favorable trine aspect is an annual event, this year gutsy Mars
adds stronger motivation, while protective Jupiter provides advisers worth their
salt. So, will you direct all this positive planetary energy into a project, or
would you be happier if it simply polished up your aura? FYI: The Gemini new moon
could introduce a new love interest, or two.

Pisces

What merely circled around you last week, when the sun tested unpredictable Uranus
in your sign, may have hit home this week. By now, you could have reacted to the
event with all due speed and currently be experiencing the positive effects of
the Gemini sun's favorable trine to your Neptune ruler. But if you're
not certain about your level of commitment, wait to see what the Gemini new moon
brings in. Remember: no signing of leases, no negotiating with the contractor,
while Mercury is retrograde.
