Since Neptune turned retrograde in Aquarius only yesterday, you might miss
the subtle changes that occur this week. However, if you're governed by either
Venus or Mars – i.e., you're an Aries, Scorpio, Libra, Taurus, Gemini or Pisces,
the signs the battling couple are currently in – then your experience could
be anything but subtle. Leos and Cancers often have major mood swings when their
rulers, the sun and the moon, oppose, as they will on Monday afternoon. That
leaves early Sagittarians and very late Scorpions, the folks most likely to
be affected by the high and hopeful Sagittarius full moon.

Aries

Play nice. Since Venus is not on the best of terms with your Mars ruler this
weekend, don't push your luck or insist on having it your way. However, you'll
probably discover that it makes sense to try to forge a compromise and, except
for a certain amount of tension (generating a fair amount of sexual heat), to
realize that it'll work out well. The full moon in fiery Sagittarius could also
get you hot and bothered, but that's more likely to be over a money matter or
a difficult choice you're being pressured to make.

Taurus

Like your Aries neighbor, you may also be under the gun, subject to forces
that are pressing too hard and fast for comfort. When militaristic Mars tests
your peaceable Venus ruler this weekend, hope that the worst thing you come
away with is a chip on your shoulder. That feisty attitude should be gone by
the time Venus finds favor with glamorous Neptune in your career house midweek.
Something quite beautiful, sweetly romantic and potentially profitable flows
from this contact, especially if you're involved in the arts.

Gemini

Pleasure-seeking Venus in your sign is attracting an assortment of planetary
energies, so if your interest in one person suddenly fades, there'll soon be
another to take his or her place. When a Martian rough-and-tumble straight-shooter
comes on too strong, the Neptunian aesthete will be only too happy to soothe
ruffled feathers and show you the finer examples of the fine arts. Maybe take
you to church, too. Around Memorial Day, Pluto in your Sag marriage house will
intensify feelings, for good or for ill, about all your relationships. Be prepared.

Cancer

Push may literally come to shove as the tension builds toward Monday's full
moon. No matter how many times a Moon Child rides the arc from the new moon
to the full, each lunar cycle presents different challenges and resolutions.
The Gemini-Sagittarius opposition zeroes in on your feelings about a romantic,
recreational or creative endeavor as well as the extent of your commitment to
the aims of a group. Because those two signs trade on information and insight,
try to handle the matter with good humor and wordplay.

Leo

Once solar Gemini begins, the pressure to succeed can lessen. Good news for
Leos who relish the praise without having to work like a dog. Information you
receive around the Sag full moon could have an impact on a family matter or
a real estate venture. Even if such a positive prognosis seems far-fetched,
because the sign of the Seer sees far into the future, it'll probably materialize
as envisioned. Because artistic, romantic Venus rewards imaginative Neptune
in your marriage house on Tuesday, an ideal you've held on to through thick
and thin might also come to pass.

Virgo

There's a chance that the August Virgin may act a bit like a lunatic – only
slightly out of control, let's hope – while the Gemini-Sagittarius full-moon
axis, like a compass, points directly to your natal sun. The rest should meditate
like mad, read voraciously or blog your brains out; just don't drive. Mutable
signs tend to speed up considerably when the pressures they feel compelled to
escape from are being applied. Although a fair amount of thrills and chills
accompany these moments, this year Mars increases the danger twofold.

Libra

Some Libras will shy away from further contact; some will rush headlong toward
it. Because your Venus ruler is in the sign of the Twins, one can't predict
which direction you'll choose when aggressive Mars strides onto your scene.
If you're a dyed-in-the-wool slut or a glutton for punishment, macho Martian
desire will be a welcome addition. If not, then by all means run for the arms
of your present-day savior, a supersensitive, sympathetic figure who'll come
to your rescue when Neptune and Venus, the ??ber-romantics, trine
on Tuesday.

Scorpio

October Scorpions could successfully resolve a money matter while the Sagittarius
full moon crosses your financial axis. However, those born in November may take
what happens then too personally to be objective, let alone effective. Give
yourself enough time and space to consider the implications of what occurs before
jumping, as is the Sagittarian wont, to conclusions. Since your Mars co-ruler
drifts through your Pisces house of romance, creativity and leisure-time activity
only once in two years, take as much time as you can.

Sagittarius

No familiar tune to croon; the Sag full moon doesn't fall in June. Solar Gemini
begins Friday, May 20, and before it even reaches 3 degrees on Monday afternoon,
the sun will oppose the moon. Cuspy Thanksgiving characters should feel the
emotional repercussions of this very personal lunation more than Centaurs born
in December. The Chrismakkah folks could be busy sorting out a problem at home
as Mars challenges the peaceful vibe Venus purports to present. Some creatures
relish these periods of heat and hostility; they wind up having makeup sex.

Capricorn

Except for Christmas Capricorns, who might be dealing with a health, work or
service issue, the full moon on Monday should bring a question of romance or
another kind of risky venture to a head. Get all the information you can; the
good-at-word-games Gemini-Sagittarius team is only too happy to oblige. But
because Mercury is in stable, security-conscious Taurus, a compatible earth
sign like your own, you won't be bombarded with irrelevant facts and figures.
Solar Gemini would be a good time to take flying lessons, maybe go up in a hot-air
balloon.

Aquarius

Affable Venus comes on to impressionable Neptune in your sign a few times a
year; sometimes she presents a challenge, sometimes she offers pure pleasure.
During their mutually supportive trine this week, anticipate receiving a pleasant
reward for the test you aced at the end of April. And because Venus is currently
in your Gemini house of romance and recreation, get ready for many-faceted fun
and frolicking. The full moon might draw your attention to a career-vs.-family
issue, but that'll pass soon enough.

Pisces

It's the Fish born close to the Aquarius cusp who'll feel the effects of Monday's
Gemini-Sagittarius full moon. To swim as fast as you can is a perfectly acceptable
reaction to the art of adaptation the mutable signs are testing. Meanwhile,
the March-born might be busy warding off an attack of bitchiness from a family
member while Venus challenges Mars in your sign. Everybody is on edge until
your Neptune ruler offers the goddess a shoulder to cry on and a mouth to kiss.
Be thankful that these changes come down as fast as they do.
