Pedestrian Killed in Fatal Semi-Truck Accident on Murrieta Hot Springs Road
TEMECULA, CA (January 28, 2022) – Late Saturday afternoon, Robin Kropp was fatally struck by a big-rig on Winchester Road.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 4:00 p.m., at the intersection of Murrieta Hot Springs and Winchester Road. Investigators later determined that a truck hit and ran over Kropp as she crossed towards Winchester.
Officers ay the big-rig driver made a right-hand turn from the westbound side of Murrieta Hot Springs and struck the pedestrian. Furthermore, the semi-truck driver made the turn on a green signal.
Upon arrival, medics pronounced 54-year-old Kropp, of Lake Forest dead at the scene.
In addition, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Temecula Officials are asking anyone with information to contact detectives at (951) 506-2000.
